DishOne Cruise 2009

This Cruise was by far the best one!!! There was about 60 DishOne Employees that came with us!! It was such a blast. I was able to meet alot of the salesmen who work for Marc and became good friends with them!! We had such a blast!!

Our First stop was in Ensenada, Mexico, We ended up driving ATV's on the beach which was amazing!! So much fun!! Probably the best part of the cruise, other than the food!!!

Our Second stop was in Cabo!! We decided to drive jet ski's on the ocean!! It was so much fun. While the rest of the crowd snorkeled (after the jet ski's) the other half of us sat on Lovers Beach! Where one of the employees, Matt, dug a hole and then ended up burying me!! It was funny!!

Hangout on the ship was a total blast!! While Marc and Crommy played Checkers, yes checkers, I was hittin up the dance club everynight!!! Ok Marc played checkers a couple of times and a few other times played Poker, not in the casino just in the game room!! I love seeing the Dish Family hangin out!! I love everyone that came! It was so much fun! Thanks Dish Fam lets do it again next year!

What have the Cram's been up to

Man the months fly by way too fast. I can't believe I can actually sit down and write something on my blog!!!! I am usually so busy or I don't have a computer:( Anyways, on my last posts I talked about Our company cruise and birthdays and Christmas and yada yada yada! Well here we are again getting ready to head on another company cruise!! I am so excited! This year is going to be a blast! We get to go on the Mexican Riviera Cruise, on Nov 2-6! I will for sure post about that when we get back!

On another note, Boston turned 4 on Sept 17. We had his first friend birthday party! Everyone had so much fun! As soon as I find where I put the camera I will post some pics! (Ours got stolen yet again and I had to barrow my sisters and have yet to find where I put it "IN A SAFE PLACE")

Boston was tested and placed in a Special Education Preschool this year. It will help him catch up and get to where he needs to be before kindergarden. He fell behind back when he was in the process of being diagnosed with diabetes. His body could only handle so much. He was at that age when he starts to learn more and more. The problem was is that he wasn't learning more and more he was struggling and his body was to weak to focus. After he was diagnosed we had to try to regain what he had already learned. Slowly but surely he gained it back, but months after the diagnoses. Now he has a bus come pick him up on Tues and Thurs from 9:30 until 12:30. The nice part about this preschool it that it's free!!! Marc and I decided since we were planning on paying for preschool we would still put him in my neighbors preschool as well to help him catch up! So he actually goes to 2 different preschools. One is Mon and Wed and the other is Tues and Thurs. He loves going to both of them and I can see he is really progressing!! I put him in Soccer and he didn't really seem to interested in that. I am trying Karate right now and he tells me he wants to go every week! I can wait for T-ball and Football, I know for sure he is going to love both of those!!

His diabetes has taken us for a loop. On May 5 we were at a Cinco De Maio neighborhood party and Boston's levels got low. I had my sister-in-law Heidi watch after Ashton while I raced home (Heidi is our neighbor just an FYI). As soon as I got home he was so cranky from being low he wouldn't eat anything and the only thing I could thing of at the moment was Syrup. That had tons of carbs in it. I held him down and forced syrup down him. I know that sounds mean but usually when they are in this stage they don't have a clue whats going on and won't eat or drink anything. I had to save my son from having a seizure. We a few minutes later I tested him and his levels were going up so I held him. A few seconds later his eyes rolled into that back of his head and the seizure began. I had no idea what to do, I couldn't let go of him and I could get anything without letting him go. This was the worst of the worst. I ran outside with Boston in my arms hoping someone was out there. NO ONE that I could see. I ran to my neighbors house (Wayne and Rachelle) and pounded on their door. I was basically screaming "HELP ME, BOSTONS HAVING A SEIZURE AND HE'S NOT COMING OUT OF IT." I was so scared. After his seizure he didn't wake up. My neighbors called 911 and sure enough they were there in a few min. He finally woke up and saw my neighbor over him and he started laughing. It was the scariest seizure with the funniest outcome! I think this is the hardest part about having a diabetic child. It comes with complications when you least expect it.
He's a a few more minor seizures but nothing to serious. Other than that he is a healthy boy!! I just hope one day there will be a cure!

Ashton is now in Tumbling and Dance! She goes to both of them up here in EMcity!! The place is called InMotion Dance! This year she is actually starting to pay attention and listen to her teachers!! She was going to my sister-in-laws tumbling @ Jamie's Tumbling in South Jordan but since my other sister-in-law is the teacher she has a hard time listening, so I thought for this year it might be better to have her go to someone she doesn't know! Hopefully next year she will listen her her aunt and I will put her back in Jamie's Tumbling!!! LOL the little stink!
We had a little accident with Ashton and Scissors. She found some kid scissors, and of course I was busy talking to my Young Women girls, and low and behold my oven became a mirror and chop, chop, chop she now has a strip of no hair right on top of her head. It has since grow a little and by little I mean a tiny bit. Right now the only hairstyle I can do on her is have her wear a head band or do a mohawk at the top and flip the sides out. Not much of a choice but she is still dang cute!! I knew this would happen and not better time when she has barely any hair anyway!!!

WE GOT A DOG!!! I know I know, I totally hated dogs. But man do I love them now!! We got a miniature poodle!! His name is Harley. He is mainly white and has a black spot on his BUTT and half of his face is black!! He is so much fun and the kids love him! Potty training is just a pain!

Anyways I guess that's a pretty good and long update for now! I promise I will try to be better about updating!!! It's time for me to go put my kids to bed and for me to sit and relax!! See y'all soon!

SLACKER of the year

I know, I know! It's been way too long. I haven't even posted anything about Marcs birthday on Christmas day, Christmas itself, Ashtons birthday on January 8 and a bunch of other fun things!! Well I have to explain. Our computer no longer works for some reason and Marc won't let me down load anything on his new laptop! So that is my excuse! Anyways I will update you on a little bit for now!!

Marc turned 28 on Christmas day! I can't believe he is almost hitting the 30 mark! Marc is such an awesome hubby and an amazing DAD!! Boston and Ashton love him so much, especially because he is always playing with them! He had a great birthday and loves having it on Christmas!!

Ashton turned 2 I can't believe it she is getting so big. I will for sure post pics when I get the chance! She loves singing, even if it means her own 2 year old talk songs!! Everything she picks up is a mic! She is too funny! We got her a Step 2 clubhouse set from Sams and they love it!! I do have to tell you what happened with it!!

First, We needed to barrow Marcs bosses Truck and we knew he wouldn't mind because he loves taking Marcs car, anyway we needed his truck to pick up the boxes because they wouldn't fit in any of our cars! So Marc drove to Sams in Sandy, in the Truck and picked them up! Let me remind you it was a really snowy day and really hard to see anything, Back to the story Marc was headed home and about half way home he noticed the boxes where gone, he thought they tipped over, so he got out of the truck and realized they were gone. He turned around and traced his tracks and low and behold it was scattered across the freeway! He stopped 3 lanes of traffic and almost got a ticket and the saddest part of all is that about 5 pieces were broken so we could even set it up for her birthday. Luckily we called step 2 and they were able to send us we still had to pay 100 bucks to send it all be it was well worth it. We have it up and they play on it in the basement everyday. i can't get them away from it

Christmas was a blast!! Santa brought so many things to our kids! They must have been better than I thought!! LOL They each got a power wheel and a ton of little toys!! I will take pics so I don't have to write every gift they got!! You can just see the mess they made!!!

Anyways as of right now not a whole lot is going on. Marc and his work got tickets to the Lakers game ROW 1 yep I said it! Lucky Dawg! I am still waiting for him to tell me it's my turn to go in Dishones seats!! Yeah right LOL. He is totally pumped and can't stop talking about it. He truly deserves it!!

Marc right now has been crazy busy at work as usual. Marc LOVES his job and when I mean LOVE, I really mean it!! I don't think there is a day that goes by that I don't hear the words DISHONE! But hey what can I say I love it too!! We are very blessed to know all of the people he works with. We love everyone there!! We always have tons of fun when we hangout. Well at least I do!! We couldn't ask for a better place to be right now!!!

Boston is going to start sports coming up in March!! They have an ITTY BITTY BALL league for 3 to 4 year olds! He is so excited to start! We still need to go get him some shoes!! He has been in preschool since September and is really loving it! In fact he told me he wanted to go to preschool to see Rachelle and Mrs. Tausha! He really loves his teachers!! His diabetes is doing ok. His levels have been so up and down we just can't seem to get him on a normal pace!!! We finally got him off the sippy. He talks more than ever since we got him off!! I think my favorite saying is "MOMMY" and I say "what" and he says "COME HEREWA" you know kid talk!!!

Ashton is still taking dance with my nieces. I just let her go in with Heidi and she kinda just does her own thing, she maybe follows what they are doing for about a minute then she is on her own!! She sings all the time and loves doing whatever Boston is doing!! She probably talks just as much as Boston or at least she is almost there!! Her famous word is NO NO NO with a finger point and shake. She is for sure my fighsty one!!

I am still just doing all my crazy jobs and now that we have a gym pass at golds, I plan on going there at least 4 to 5 times a week!! I want to get into some good shape!!! I am really tired right now so I am going to have to post other things later and I will also post pics when I can!! I am going to the Diabetes Expo on the 28th and will be staying at my moms so hopefully I can bring all my pics and post them for everyone to see!! Anyways I am falling asleep!! Later

Finally a POST of our cruise!!!

We had such a blast on the cruise this year!! It's so much fun going with a big group!! We did a dune buggy tour and hungout at the beaches!! Our stops were Cozmel and Belize. They are such amazing cities, but it makes me feel so blessed to live in the USA!!! Some of the homes in Belize were held up by 2x4's I couldn't belive it! THey have beautiful beaches. But the rest of the city is pretty much filled with garbage! I am sure they make the beaches look so nice for all the tourists! Anyways there was so many activities the we did on the boat as well!! Robyn and I layed out alot! The boys did a dodgeball tournament! They won 2nd place one day and 1st the next. I do have to say I have a very competative husband!! Most of the guys were but Marc kinda stood out when he finally got a kid out that called him on! Lets just say there was almost a fight!! Thanks for Crommy for backing Marc up with in slpit seconds!!! But really Marc was no meaning to start a fight people just took him the wrong way. He got so excited he jumped up and screamed and the kid he got out jumped to and the (on purpose) hit heads (like football players do when they are excited) so people thought it was going to start a fight!!! Anyways I guess you really had to be there!! But we really had a great time and can't wait for nest years cruise!!! Heres some pics with all of the fun events, and our whole DISHONE crew!! (two couples hadn't gotten there yet so you have to add 4 more people to the crowd!!!
